In addition to the host Acadia squad, the tournament field will include the provincial champions from the four Atlantic provinces.
These include the St. John’s Hitmen from Newfoundland and Labrador, the EDZA West All-Stars from New Brunswick, the Summerside Capitals from Prince Edward Island and the Nova Scotia champion TASA Ducks from the Halifax Region.
Practice ice at the Andrew H. McCain Arena will be available on April 8, with the tournament itself getting underway April 9 with Newfoundland and Labrador taking on New Brunswick at 2 p.m.
Other games April 9 will include P.E.I. versus Nova Scotia at 4 p.m., followed by the opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. The final game of the evening will be Acadia against Newfoundland and Labrador at 7 p.m.
Day two, April 10, kicks off with Nova Scotia against New Brunswick at 10 a.m. Acadia will take on P.E.I. at noon, followed by Newfoundland and Labrador against Nova Scotia at 4:30 p.m. The final game of day two is Acadia and New Brunswick at 6:30 p.m.
On April 11, the day begins with P.E.I. playing Newfoundland and Labrador at 9 a.m., followed by Acadia against Nova Scotia at 12:30 p.m. and New Brunswick against P.E.I. at 3:30.
That evening, starting at 7 p.m., an awards banquet will be held at nearby Horton High School.
The bronze medal game is scheduled for 9 a.m. on April 12, with the gold medal game to follow at 11:30 a.m.
All tournament games will be played at Acadia’s Andrew H. McCain Arena.
