Following on the success from last year’s NHL Legend’s Hockey Game, the Organizing Group (Al Robart, Joel Zwicker, Ian Kent and Mark Thomaes) are bringing the event back in the fall of 2014.

Proceeds from the tournament will go to Queens County SkatePark Association. This Association is working to build a Skate Park here in Queens County, which will provide an appropriate skate facility for young and old alike.

The roster for this year’s NHL Legend’s hockey team has been substantially upgraded from the 2013 edition s. Four of the Legends attending have won a Stanley Cup, as a group they have scored over 2500 career NHL goals, 8 where NHL All Stars and one is a current member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Full roster and other details will be made available at the official announcement taking place at Queens Place Emera Centre, on Monday Aug. 11 at 1 p.m. Media and the general public are encouraged to attend.
