Ryan Hebb scores three touchdowns to lead Avalanche to victory

ANTIGONISH — Ryan Hebb may have been asking himself “did that really happen?” following the Avalanche’s game in Antigonish.

On Sept. 25, Hebb scored three touchdowns, kicked two extra points and recorded more than 200 all-purpose yards to lead the Avalanche to a 32-12 win over Dr. J.H. Gillis High School.

Also scoring for Avon View was Austin States, who grabbed an interception for a touchdown, and Eugenio Rocco, who kicked two field goals.

On the defensive side, Darien Amos, Ryan Harvey and Robbie Chase played strongly, leading the team in tackles on defense. 

The Avalanche are preparing for their home opener this weekend. They will take on the Northeast Kings Titans at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 3. The game will be played at Avon View High School.
