Austin Sabean played like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning as he connected on 12 of 14 passes, one a 30-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Bauchman. Sabean also rushed the ball seven times for 60 yards.
Justin Crossley was strong on the ground, rushing the ball 12 times for 80 yards while also collecting three receptions. Crossley also added a two-point convert at a point in the game when it was badly needed.
Darion Amos scored the other touchdown for the Avalanche on a one-yard touchdown run, while also playing strong defensively, garnering 10 tackles.
The Avalanche has now set its sights on a .500 season, as the team will take its 3-4 record into the final game of the regular season. The Avalanche host Central Kings Nov. 2 at 1:30 p.m.
