The Shelburne County Mud Munchers (SCMM) off road club is off to a perfect start in the 2014 Valley Tire BF Goodrich Off Road Racing Series.

Through 7 of 12 events, the SCMM have taken every Fast Time Award. Fast time is awarded to the fastest slalom run out of all runs during the days events, which consists of a 200 foot sand drag along with the 50-120 second range slalom runs.

Curtis "Barty" Smith leads with three fast times (Liverpool, Glenholme and most recently Clare) followed by Warren "Warnie" Harris with two (Shelburne and Chester) and also with two fast times Jeremy "Bullfrog" Shand (Rawdon and Pleasant Valley) all running the Pro Stock class. This does not include the drag racing awards the SCMM have accumulated in the 2014 season, which we will have more details of soon.

Off road racing is as popular as ever locally with the SCMM holding spot as the largest club in the series with over 30 registered racers. Visit for more news and updates as well as rules and class information to get involved in racing with the Shelburne County Mud Munchers.
