No shortage of athletic talent at King’s-Edgehill School

There is no shortage of options for student athletes at the King’s-Edgehill School.

Nearly 50 awards were presented at the school’s athletic banquet to mark the impending conclusion of another school year.

Most valuable contributor awards were handed to athletes who participated in the following school sports in the 2013-14 season: volleyball, soccer, basketball, cross country running, track, softball, rugby, hockey, biathlon, snowboarding, skiing, badminton, table tennis and even cycle racing.

Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation junior “Good Sport” awards went to Lara Kretzinger and Lawson MacLane. Liam Hogan and Taylor Amirault, also named the Junior Female Athlete of the Year, were named the junior high scholar athletes for the 2013-14 season. Andrez Velez won the Junior Male Athlete of the Year Award.

Erica Kelly took home the Senior Female Scholar Athlete Award and Beth Lawrence was selected as the Senior Female Athlete of the Year recipient.

Michael Jachimowicz claimed both the Senior Scholar Male Athlete and Senior Male Athlete of the Year awards.
