Rally planned for Acadia Axemen send-off to CIS nationals

A rally is planned for the Acadia hockey Axemen in advance of their trip to the University Cup championship in Saskatoon.    

Fans are invited to Wolfville Elementary School on March 17 at noon for a town-wide send-off.    

The hockey Axemen will arrive at noon and visit students at the school. RCMP and the Wolfville Fire Department will then escort the Acadia bus through the downtown as it departs for the airport.

Wolfville residents are encouraged to show their Axemen hockey spirit, wear Acadia colours and stand up and cheer.  

The University Cup tournament takes place March 20-23 in Saskatoon.
