Four three-week-old bunnies, similar to the one seen here, have been stolen from the rabbit pen at Hennigar’s Farm Market in Greenwich
Two young adults were arrested Sept. 4 in the case of the bunnies the went missing last month from Hennigar's Farm Market in Greenwich.
A woman, aged 19, was charged with theft and possession of stolen goods and a male, age 22, has been charged with possession of stolen goods and obstructing a police investigation.
A total of four baby rabbits were stolen on Aug. 26 and 28. The thefts were not reported to the RCMP until Sept. 4, according to Const. Blair MacMurtery.
Two of the stolen bunnies died, while two others have not yet been recovered.
The investigation into the location of the other two missing rabbits continues. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact their local RCMP detachment or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), text TIP202 + your message to 'CRIMES' (274637) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
