The Milton Dambusters have wrapped up their 2013 season with their attendance of the Summer Swim Provincials.

The group traveled to the Dalplex and competed from Aug. 16-18. They were hosted by Cole Harbour Hurricanes. The Dambusters had a successful season with new coach Hannah Kelley after their hiatus in 2012.
The goals of the summer program were to work on technique and speed. The head coach also sought to train new swimmers and fine tune veteran members. The program was a success, with positive results and several new members joining. The club scored 61 points at Provincials.

25 m Free 38.16 - improvement of 1.8 seconds for a personal best
25 m Breast 44.97 - improvement of .63 seconds for a personal best
25 m Backstroke 41.59 - improvement of 18.70 seconds for a personal best
Morgan Cowie, age 8:

25 m Breast 39.56 - improvement of 2.42 seconds for a personal best
Cheyenne Harrison, age 13:
100 m Free 1:48.57 - improvement of 10.68 seconds for a personal best
50 m Fly 52.83 - improvement of 2.36 seconds for a personal best

50 m Free 44.14 - improvement of .9 seconds for a personal best and a 9 place finish in the event

The Dambusters had their closing banquet and awards night on Wednesday Aug. 21. Coach Hannah Kelley presented awards to the swimmers and thanked them, and the parents for an amazing season.
