One person was transported to hospital after a three-vehicle accident near Wolfville Sunday morning.
Wolfville fire Chief Kirk Fredericks said the crash occurred around 11:40 a.m. just west of exit 10.
“Looks like a hydroplane incident,” he said. “There were 100 metres of parts spread all over the highway,”
RCMP and paramedics responded, along with firefighters from Hantsport and Greenwich who helped shut down the highway between exits 9 and 11 for about 90 minutes.
One person was trapped in a vehicle and was transported to hospital with what Fredericks thought to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The highway reopened just after 1 p.m.
