RCMP say cash and jewelry were taken during a break into a Barrington Passage home.
RCMP Barrington are looking for the public's help in solving a residential break, enter and theft that occurred in Barrington Passage on the Aug. 10-11 weekend.
Money and jewelry were taken from the residence. Police would not comment on the value of the stolen items.
RCMP say residential break and enters are not common in Barrington Municipality but are reminding residents to ensure their homes are secured whether they are intending to be away for a short period of time or a more lengthy period of time. Police say homeowners would be prudent to have a friend or family monitor their home while they are away. RCMP say devices, such as motion detectors should be considered as motion detectors alert neighbours to movement in otherwise invisible locations around one's home or business. Professional alarm systems could also be considered.
