Acadia University’s curling club is represented at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport nationals this week in Kamloops, British Columbia.

The club’s men’s team consists of Robert Mayhew, Michael Brophy, Alex Trites, Ben Creaser, fifth Alex Mooney and coach Alan Mayhew.

The Axemen have had mixed success in the first two days of play. Acadia kicked off competition March 20 with a 8-5 win in against host Thompson Rivers Wolfpack, but then lost 7-4 to University of Alberta Golden Bears in the second and 6-5 to the Waterloo Warriors in their third draw.

Acadia meets the Trent University Excalibur in the fourth draw at 11 p.m. ADT March 21. Play continues until March 24.
