Provincials begin this weekend

The Acadia Minor Hockey Association will be well represented at Hockey Nova Scotia provincial tournaments this year, with at least seven AMHA teams having qualified for provincials.

Hockey Nova Scotia had provincial championship tournaments scheduled for various locations throughout the province on four consecutive weekends, March 7-10 to March 29-31.

As of March 4, the Acadia Atom AA, Atom AAA, Peewee AA, Peewee AAA and Midget B boys and Peewee AA and Midget AA girls had all qualified.

Three of the provincial tournaments are being hosted in Kings County. The Atom AA tournament is this weekend, March 15-17 in Kentville, while the Midget B boys' provincials are also March 15-17 in Canning.

The Peewee AA girls' provincials are scheduled for March 22-24 in Berwick.
