The town passed a report Feb. 25 that included four suggestions for changing parking: increasing accessible spots at the arena; adding more signs directing drivers to all-day parking; exploring adding temporary parking on vacant, private properties; and marking all-day spots on River Street.
A number of businesspeople and Kentville Development Corporation Limited president Bill Denyar praised a proposal for three-hour parking in an earlier version of the report. That version, discussed at the January council advisory committee, included a dozen proposals.
