Annapolis RCMP responded to a total of 69 calls for service between February 18 and February 25 at 9 a.m. There were several break-ins where fuel, a laptop, and money were stolen. A vehicle owner reported pothole damage, and police also made a drug arrest.
Also included in the week’s work were seven false 911 calls, 15 traffic matters, one false alarm, a seven domestic situations.

Following are some of the highlights of the week:
February 18 at 9:24 a.m. Lawrencetown – Police received a report of a break and enter into a business. Money and laptop computer were stolen. The investigation continues.
February 18 at 10:56 a.m. Port Lorne – Police received a report of a generator explosion that resulted in a house fire and the owner sustaining burns. EHS transported the victim to hospital in Kentville where he was airlifted to Halifax in serious condition.
February 18 at 11:59 p.m. Granville Center – RCMP received a report of a male in violation of court conditions. He was arrested, lodged in cells, and later remanded into custody pending a bail hearing in Kentville court.
February 19 at 8:36 a.m. Meadowvale - Vehicle damage was reported after a driver drove into a pothole on the road.
February 19 at 4:32 p.m. Torborrk – A church was broken into and a quantity of fuel oil was stolen from oil tank.
February 20 at 2:14 p.m. Nictaux - Assist Halifax RPD with locating possible suspect vehicle involved in a hit & run accident.
February 21 at 10:24 p.m. Greywood – A male and female were arrested for assault. Both individuals were lodged in cells and released the next day pending charges.
February 22 at 5:11 p.m. Lawrencetown – Police received a report of a stolen van. A suspect fled in the vehicle. The vehicle was later located abandoned. The investigation continues.
February 22 at 9:16 p.m. Middleton – A disturbance call resulted in an adult male being arrested and lodged in cells. He was released the next day. Charges under the Liquor Control Act are pending
February 23 at 6:45 a.m. Wilmot – Police received a report of a possible break and enter into a business. The investigation continues.
February 23 at 9:46 a.m. Wilmot – A vehicle owner reported that the vehicle was entered over night and a purse stolen.
February 23 at 2:43 p.m. Middleton – Police received a report of computer fraud.
February 23 at 11:45 p.m. Nictaux – A police traffic stop resulted in a drug seizure. Charges are pending.
