A meeting has been planned by a group hoping to see a skate park constructed in Kentville.

On Feb. 27, the group will hold a meeting in the upstairs meeting room at Paddy's Pub, Kentville, at 6:30 p.m.

This meeting is for anyone interested in being part of the Kentville Skatepark Association.

On the agenda are itmes like becoming a registered non-profit organization,  fundraising, communicating with the town and other things will will need to do to make this project happen, says organizer Matthew MacLeod.

This meeting is for people who want to help do the administrative stuff, not necessarily for young skaters and bikers who want to express their interest in having a park, he added.
