The Annapolis RCMP received 72 calls during the week of February 11 through February 17. A number of erratic or possibly impaired drivers were reported, horses were on the loose, there were a couple of gas-and-goes, and there were several assaults reported. Among the calls were: five traffic accidents, seven false 911s, one domestic assault, and one road check.

Following are highlights from the week:
-- February 11 at 1:40 a.m. Middleton. A resident in an apartment building reported seeing a suspicious vehicle outside the building and someone ringing the doorbell. Police checked the area but the vehicle was gone.
-- February 11 at 10:19 a.m. Nictaux. Police were called about a landlord tenancy dispute.
-- February 11 at 4:41 p.m. Hwy 101 Deep Brook. Police received a report of a possible impaired driver driving erratically across the road.
-- February 11 at 4:41 p.m. Hwy 101 Deep Brook. Police received a report of a possible impaired driver weaving on the roadway. Police attended but the vehicle was not found.
-- February 11 at 5:53 p.m. Clementsvale. An erratic driver was reported. The vehicle was stopped by the police and investigated for being impaired.
-- February 11 at 6:00 p.m. Wilmot. Police were called to a landlord-tenant dispute.
-- February 11 at 9:21 p.m. Highway 1 at Deep Brook. Police received a call from a motorist who was stuck in a snowdrift on the road.
-- February 12 at 9:40 a.m. Nictaux. Police received a complaint from a motorist, stating that he finds that the vehicles parking at the mailbox at the Nictaux fire hall are impeding the line of sight for southbound vehicles on Highway 10.
-- February 12 at 9:42 a.m. Middleton. Police were called to assist an ambulance in regards to a person in distress at an apartment. The individual was taken to hospital.
-- February 12 at 1:51 p.m. Middleton. Police received a report of a hit-and-run accident. A description of the vehicle was provided to the police and the investigation continuing.
-- February 12 at 3:14 p.m. Middleton. A person reported unwanted text messages.
-- February 12 at 6:01 p.m. East Margaretsville. Police were asked to do a welfare check on a senior. The matter is being looked into by the Senior Safety Coordinator.
-- February 12 at 8:44 p.m. Lawrencetown. A wallet was reported lost.
-- February 12 at 9:01 p.m. Bridgetown. Police seized drugs from a male during a road check and charges have been laid.
-- February 13 at 7:10 a.m. Hwy 1 at Brickton. A horse was reported to be loose on the road, but the horse found its way back to the fenced area.
-- February 13 at 10:11 a.m. Middleton. Police received information regarding a sexual assault that was alleged to have occurred in the past. The investigation continues.
-- February 13 at 11:00 a.m. Wilmot. Several items were reported stolen from a vehicle including a wallet and iPod.
-- February 13 at 4:46 p.m. Lequille. Police were called about an incident where a customer failed to pay for gas. The person has been identified and investigation continues.
-- February 13 at 6:41 p.m. Nictaux. Police were called to a family dispute. The matter was resolved.
-- February 13 at 7:10 p.m. Meadowvale. Police were called about a person being threatened. Police spoke with the individuals and they agreed to not contact each other.
-- February 13 at 8:57 p.m. Cornwallis. Police were advised about a child being in a home with no heat. Police investigated and heat was not an issue.
-- February 14 at 11:14 a.m. Springfield. Police were called to investigate a theft complaint where threats were now involved.
-- February 14 at 3:43 p.m. Middleton. A shoplifting incident at the liquor store was reported.
-- February 14 at 7:16 p.m. Clarence. A disturbance was reported at a residence. Police checked it out and the matter was resolved.
-- February 14 at 10:19 p.m. Brickton. Police received a report that a small car was all over the road and squealing its tires.
-- February 14 at 11:05 p.m. Meadowvale. Police were advised of a dispute over the sale of a dog.
-- February 15 at 2:50 p.m. Nictaux. A resident reported that someone had taken a letter from her mailbox and it was found on the ground torn open.
-- February 15 at 4:04 p.m. Bridgetown. Police received a report of a small truck not being driven properly. The vehicle was weaving on the road. Police spoke to the driver, who was not impaired but possibly distracted.
-- February 15 at 4:52 p.m. Granville Ferry. A person reported possible suspicious activity after a generator would not start and may have been tampered with.
-- February 15 at 7:25 p.m. Bridgetown. While conducting a road check police detected marijuana. The drugs were seized. The investigation continues.
-- February 16 at 1:30 a.m. Middleton. Police checked a vehicle and drugs were found. Charges are being laid.
-- February 16 at 3:54 a.m. Mosher’s Corner. Police investigated a motor vehicle collision. The driver is being investigated for impaired driving. Also drugs and open liquor were found in the vehicle. Arrests were made. The investigation continues.
-- February 16 at 7:56 a.m. Bridgetown. Police received a report that someone had driven over a lawn and caused damage.
-- February 16 at 1:48 p.m. Wilmot. Someone reported finding a horse. The owner was located and took charge of the horse.
-- February 16 at 2:29 p.m. Arlington Road. Police were called to an assault. The investigation continues.
-- February 16 at 3:24 p.m. Albany Cross. A person reported receiving numerous calls from multiple names and numbers. Obscene messages were being left.
-- February 16 at 3:43 p.m. Bridgetown. Police received a report of a person who failed to pay for gas at the Esso. The suspect has been identified and the matter is being followed up.
-- February 16 at 6:15 p.m. Bridgetown. Police investigated an assault between patrons at a local store.
-- February 16 at 11:06 p.m. Middleton. Loud music was reported. The music was turned down after police attended.
-- February 17 at 2:10 p.m. Centerlea. Police were called to a family dispute over an argument about drugs.
