The Emergency Department at Soldiers Memorial Hospital (SMH), Middleton will be closed as of noon today due to physician illness. The SMH ED will reopen at 8 p.m. this evening.

If you have an emergency, please call 911. The Emergency Department at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville is available. For non-emergency health information, please call 811 to speak with a Registered Nurse.

Annapolis Valley Health said it apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
