There were 163 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Jan. 14 and Jan. 17.

Jan. 14

A theft of money is being investigated at a Port Williams business.

A Lower Wolfville resident reported someone siphoned gas out of a car overnight.

An Orchard Drive resident in New Minas reported his concern about finding golf balls on his property. He believed the safety of his grandchildren could be at risk.

Two break-ins were reported from North Kentville. Jewelry was taken in one of the incidents.

Mischief was reported on a vehicle in Kingston.

A suspicious youth was observed at a Greenwood business at 5:15 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was also noted on Chestnut Avenue in Wolfville.

Charges are likely after a liquor theft in Berwick.

Two drivers were injured in a collision in Waterville.

Jan. 15

The resident of a New Minas apartment reported someone unscrewing exterior light bulbs.

The tailgate on a truck was stolen at a Coldbrook business.

A North Mountain man was arrested on a warrant after he accused another man of stealing his license plate.

Some missing jewelry was reported from Woodman Road in Wolfville, but there was no break-in.

A report of a disturbance in Victoria Harbour turned out to be a wife attempting to talk to her husband, who was working on his woodpile.

An elderly Wolfville resident left her purse downtown.

An unhappy customer caused a disturbance at the Canning post office.

Jan. 16

An unwanted male was reported in New Minas.

Police in Wolfville investigated a report of possible animal cruelty.

Some car keys were stolen out of a vehicle on Chestnut Avenue in Wolfville. Vehicles on Westwood and Stirling Avenues were also gone through.

Two horses got loose in Somerset mid-afternoon.

A van driver lost control and went off the road in Weston.

Harassing phone calls were reported in Burlington.

An unwanted man was knocking on a door in Berwick.

A questionable $5 bill turned out to be an older version of the currency.

Concern about a young woman hitchhiking in Wolfville was registered at 9:20 p.m.

Jan. 17

A child welfare concern is being investigated.

An Aylesford resident reported finding the footprints of a trespasser around a residence.

A truck stolen in December was recovered at a car pool parking lot.

Six mental health issues arose. A 21-year-old male damaged property in Waterville and left the rehab centre.

There were three domestic incidents. A 45-year-old man was arrested for assault after a woman in her 40s was injured.

Seven family relations cases were reported and there were four youth group home incidents.

There were six driving complaints. Collisions occurred in Wolfville, Greenwood and New Minas. There were parking lot crashes in North Kentville.

Police looked into two possible breaches of conditions.

There were two false alarms and three false 911 call
