There was a great turnout to the grand opening of the Louis Millett Community Complex, the Village of New Minas’ new recreation and administrative centre. Among those on hand for the Nov. 15 event were magician Al Bernard of North Kentville (left), eight-year-old Josh Myers and six-year-old Abbie Myers of New Minas. They were trying out the new badminton equipment. Today, Nov. 16, might be a good day to check out all the new complex has to offer, as the Environment Canada forecast for Kentville is calling for cloudy skies with a 40 per cent chance of drizzle this morning. Winds will be out of the north at 20 km/h with a high temperature of 6C anticipated.
