Lawrencetown and area residents turned out in large numbers to observe Remembrance Day at the local fire hall on November 11. Those in the backed room paid tribute to the many who gave their lives in wars and conflicts, and many wreaths were laid in their honour.
Among those in attendance were many young people as well as veterans, current members of the military, and West Nova Member of Parliament Greg Kerr. The village’s cenotaph is outside the fire hall and wreaths were later laid at the foot of the monument.
