Team USA defeated Team Switzerland 4-3 in a game that came down to the wire on the evening of Day 2 at the World Junior A Challenge in Yarmouth.
Team Switzerland came on strong in the final minutes of the game, scoring a goal to come within one goal of USA with one minute and five seconds left in the third period. The Swiss also preventing Team USA from scoring on the empty net. However, the United States was able to hang onto their lead for the win.
The win clinches first place in Group B for the United States, securing the team a spot in Friday's semifinals.
