Annapolis RCMP Crime Report

The Annapolis RCMP responded to 61 calls during the week of February 6 through 13, among these were: six traffic accidents, one false 911, and one false alarm. There were no domestic assaults reported this week.

Following are a few of these calls:

-- February 6 at 8:47 a.m. Brickton. Annapolis RCMP were called to a traffic accident after a motorist lost control and hits a pole. Minor injuries were reported.

-- February 6 at 9:25 a.m. Middleton. Oil was reported stolen from a business.

-- February 6 at 3:52 p.m.  Middleton. A license plate was reported lost.

-- February 6 at 4:05 p.m. Lequille. Police were called to a disturbance and breach of peace at a residence.

-- February 6 at 7:50 p.m. Clements Road. A break and enter was reported at a residence. Old stereo equipment and LP records were stolen.

-- February 7 at 12:56 a.m. Middleton. A caller reported a possible prowler. A patrol was made, but didn’t find anyone.

-- February 7 at 1:27 a.m. Nictaux. Police received a report that a vehicle was blocking traffic. The vehicle was removed.

-- February 7 at 12:20 p.m. Middleton. Police were requested to serve a summons.

-- February 7 at 7:34 p.m. An attempted fraud involving a computer scam was reported.

-- February 8 at 8:43 a.m. Lawrencetown. A pop machine outside the Department of Natural Resources office was reported damaged.

-- February 8 at 11:23 a.m. Wilmot. A wallet was reported stolen.

-- February 8 at 3:50 p.m. Lequille. A suspicious vehicle was reported. Police are following up.

-- February 8 at 6:11 p.m. Nictaux. An assault was reported in Nictaux. Police investigated and no charges have been laid.

-- February 8 at 11:37 p.m. A snowmobiler was reported lost. Police determined the individual ran out of gas, but was in contact via cell phone and was already waiting for assistance.

-- February 9 at 10:43 a.m. Brooklyn. A traffic hazard was reported regarding an insecure load. A truck lost a load of hay on the road.

-- February 9 1:10 p.m. Nictaux. Threats were reported.

-- February 9 at 4:05 p.m. Bridgetown. Money was reported stolen. Police intervened and the money was returned.

-- February 10 at 10:05 a.m. Youngs Cove. A caller reported seeing a suspicious object in the water. Police were unable to determine what the object was, but verified that no one was missing.

-- February 10 at 8:46 a.m. Torbrook Mines. The Three Rivers Community Centre reported a break and enter. Water jugs were stolen.

-- February 10 at 10:35 a.m. Cornwallis. An abandoned vehicle was reported seen in the area; police determined that the driver had run out of gas.

-- February 10 at 1:30 p.m. Upper Clements. A motor vehicle accident was reported after a motorist collided with a deer.

-- February 10 at 4:02 p.m. Williamston. A break and enter into a residence was reported; electronic games were stolen.

 -- February 10 at 4:26 p.m. Granville. A suspicious vehicle was reported seen in the area.

-- February 10 at 4:34 p.m. Middleton. Police were asked to assist with an unwanted person.

-- February 10 at 6:36 p.m. Deep Brook. A fraud was reported.

-- February 10 at 10:24 p.m. Moiscelle. Illegal dumping of oil drums was reported on a private property.

-- February 11 at 7:42 a.m. Clementsport. A motorist swerved to avoid an accident and lost control and went in the ditch.

-- February 11 at 8:08 a.m. Waldec. A single-vehicle accident was reported. There were no injuries.

-- February 11 at 9:11 a.m. Springfield. A single-vehicle accident is reported. There were minor injuries.

-- February 11 at 1:36 p.m. Bridgetown. A traffic hazard was reported. Large rocks were on the road.

-- February 11 at 6:54 p.m. Bear River. An animal welfare call was made and referred to the animal control officer.

-- February 11 at 8:07 p.m. Wilmot. Prescription drugs were reported stolen.

-- February 11 at 11:32 p.m. Williamston. Dogs were reported running loose on the road.

-- February 12 At 3:38 p.m. Paradise. Snowmobiles were reported to be trespassing on private property.

-- February 12 at 5:18 p.m. Middleton. Snowmobiles were reported seen in Rotary Park.
