Nova Scotia RCMP are advising motorists to take extra precaution on the province’s roadways as a winter storm impacts the province.
Conditions are expected to deteriorate on roadways across the province with a mixture of snow and ice pellets.

Motorists may even consider delaying travel plans.
The release said for those who must travel to reduce speed, allow for extra travel time and avoid sudden starts, stops and lane changes or turns during icy conditions, which may cause you to be involved in a collision.
