Cadidates debate tonight in Liverpool

Three of the federal election candidates will be in Queens County this Wednesday evening, to debate the issues important to the South Shore-St. Margaret’s riding.

The evening, hosted by the South Queens Chamber of Commerce, is taking place at the Best Western Hotel in Liverpool, Wednesday April 13 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Candidates Gerald Keddy, Conservative, Gordon Earle, NDP, and Derek Wells, Liberal, will all be in the conference room of the hotel that evening for the debate. Green Party candidate Kris MacLellan was unable to attend.

The format of the debate will have each candidate giving a two minute opening and closing speech, plus 12 prepared questions asked by moderator Kevin Page.

    I am the Green Party candidate in SSSM. I was not "unable to attend" this debate - I was not invited.
