Margaret Rosetta Bond

Funeral service for the late Margaret Rosetta Bond, 75, Durells Island, Guysborough County, was held June 14 in Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Canso, with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Bond died June 10, 2018. Born and raised in Canso, she was a daughter of the late Wallace Alonzo and Margaret Julia (Snow) Bond. She worked at the fish plant as a packer for many years. She enjoyed books, music and engaging in nature. She is survived by daughter, Margaret Elizabeth; two grandchildren, Brandon, Hailey; two sisters, Amanda Bond, Sondra (Lester) Ferguson; brother, Ernie (Marlene) Bond; three aunts, Vadie Thornhill, Alice Cashin, Theresa Boutilier; uncle, Wilfred Snow; six nieces, Andrea, Vadie, Glendora, Rosetta, Erin, Christina; nephew, Derek.
