Judith "Judy" Nickerson — Shelburne

NICKERSON, Judith Roxanne “Judy” – 60, Clark’s Harbour, passed away in Roseway Hospital, Shelburne, on March 14, 2018. Born in Shelburne, April 15, 1956, she was a daughter of Mable (Smith) Sears and the late Nelson Brannen. Judy was a devoted mother and grandmother who was passionate about the well-being and happiness of her children and grandchildren. She was kind and compassionate and always willing to help others. She enjoyed the small things in life, like sitting outside on a beautiful afternoon and a walk on the beach. Most of all though she loved spending time with her family and especially those sleepovers with her grandkids that she cherished so much. She is survived by her husband, David Nickerson; mother, Mable Sears; children, Arley (Wanda) Goreham, Candy (Nick) Kelley; grandchildren, Samuel Kelley, Emily MacKinnon; siblings, Millie (David) Beaulieu, Kelley Brannen, Connie (Timmy) Atkinson, Patricia (Leo) Atkinson, and Susan (Bruce) Stewart. Besides her father, Nelson Brannen, she was predeceased by step-father, William Sears. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. There was a memorial service held on Sunday, March 18, 2 p.m., at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Rev. Cindy Dunnett officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
