Joanann Shirley "Joan" QUAINTANCE (Bowman),

Age 74 of Hammonds Plains, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Gloria (Swinemar) and Maxwell Bowman. She is survived by her husband, David Quaintance; daughters, Natalie (Quaintance) Webb of Ocean Springs, Miss.; and Kathryn (Quaintance) Essency of Hammonds Plains; son, Craig Quaintance of Hammonds Plains; sister, Valerie (Bowman) Blackwood of Fall River; brother, Kendal Bowman of Dartmouth; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Service will be held in St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Tantallon, Friday, September 21st at 11 a.m. with reception to follow in the church hall.
