James A. Corbett

Funeral service for the late James A. Corbett, 82, Port Hawkesbury, was held July 7 from the Jehovah Witnesses, Lexington. Mr. Corbett died June 25, 2018. Born June 29, 1935, in Sydney, he met his wife, Helen, in Halifax, while on his many travels throughout Canada. In his early years, he worked as a barber. He enjoyed country music, cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays and especially enjoyed the Granville Green concerts. He was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Lexington, and valued the friendships of the congregation. He is survived by two daughters, Pam (Clyde), Troy; Kathleen ‘Vicki’ (Lorne); two granddaughters, Sabrina, Amanda (Matt); great-granddaughter, Brooklyn. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen.
