Irene Nathalie PATRIQUIN

Age 80 of Bridgetown, sadly passed away September 17, 2018 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born December 23, 1937, in Bridgetown, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Exilda (Arsenault) Marshall. Irene was the beloved wife of the late Aubrey Ellsworth Patriquin for 57 years. Irene was the loving mother of daughters, Margo (Tony) Oakes, Halifax; and Lisa (Dr. Chanse Holder), Trenton, Ont.; beloved Nanny to grandchildren, Suzi (Jeremy), Halifax; Cassie (Shane), Toronto; Tyler, Calgary; Dallas, Ottawa; Marshall, Ottawa; Ethan, Peterborough; Travis (Toni), Ottawa; and Jace, Peterborough, Ont. Also her adored cat Nikki. Survived by brothers, Wayne, Nictaux; and Dwight, Bridgetown. Predeceased by son, Danny; brothers, Roland, Russell; and sister, Phyllis Bent. Irene worked over the years for the Adult Residential Center, Grace Haven, Sears, and Britex. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends. She loved spending time playing cards, crib, crokinole, reading, gardening, crafts, and working on woodworking projects with Aubrey. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 25th from Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Hampton Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene's memory may be sent to The Lung Association Nova Scotia or Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
