Douglas Patrick Macdonald

We, the family of Douglas Patrick MacDonald, 61, regret to announce his sudden passing on March 11, 2018, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Douglas is survived by his wife, Lorraine Currie; his three children, Paige, Taylor and Logan; his mother, Irene of Sydney; his three brothers, Peter (Patricia) of Dartmouth; Jack of Halifax; P.J. (Jen) of Sydney; and sister in-law, Estella Mac Donald of Beaver Bank. He was pre-deceased by his father, Douglas (Duke); sister, Camille, and brother, Ronnie. The family would like to thank Dr. Carol Critchley, and the Cape Breton Regional Hospital 3B nursing staff. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Friday March 16 at 10 a.m. at S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to immediately follow at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of S.W.
