Colin Levesque — Surette's Island

LEVESQUE, Colin Peter – age 64, passed away peacefully at his favorite place, “the Tittle”, near the water he so loved, on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Born December 11, 1952 in Doctor’s Cove, he was a son of Ernest Levesque and the late Germaine (Babin) Levesque. Colin was the owner and operator of Hoe Hoe Hoe Construction from 1988 to 2010. His passions included boating, entertaining and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, clam digging and cooking for others. Aside from his father, Ernest, he is survived by his loving wife, Lois (d’Entremont) Levesque, as well as by their daughters, Rachelle MacPherson (Kyle Boudreau) and Ginette Levesque (Riel d’Eon) and grandchildren, Cole, Paige, Reese, Rémi and Sylvie. He is also survived by a sister, Lorna (Ron) Doucette, a son-in-law, William MacPherson and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Germaine. He will be missed by his many friends, most of whom loved to drop by to visit him in his shed. In accordance with Colin’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth and there will be no formal service. A celebration of Colin’s life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the VON, the palliative care team and all those who cared for him and his family.
