The 24-year-old Moncton man charged with killing three RCMP officers and wounding two others earlier this summer appeared in Moncton Aug. 8 and entered guilty pleas on five charges.
According to the New Brunswick RCMP website, Justin Bourque pleaded guilty to three counts of first degree murder and two counts of attempted murder in court today.
June 4, Bourque shot and killed constables Doug Larche, Dave Ross and Fabrice Gevaudan in a residential neighbourhood in the north end of the New Brunswick city.
Constables Eric Dubois and Darlene Goguen were also wounded by Bourque during the incident
Bourque is scheduled to return to court Oct. 27.
