Halifax Police on hunt for two men after fatal stabbing in Dartmouth parking lot

Two men are wanted by police are someone was stabbed to death in a Dartmouth parking lot on Friday night.

Halifax Regional Police were called to a disturbance in the parking lot of Farrell Hall at 276 Windmill Rd. around 10:30 p.m. after witnesses say three men were fighting.

When officers arrived, one man was found unconscious suffering from several stab wounds.

He was rushed to hospital by paramedics but died.

Police say the suspects are described as Caucasian men who were both wearing dark clothing. They were last seen running northbound on Windmill Road.

The major crime unit of Halifax police is investigating the homicide and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 902-490-2020 or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

This is Halifax’s fifth homicide of 2014.
