Charges will not be laid in connection with a pushing incident that left 56-year-old Gordon Longphee dead.

RCMP were called to Quest Regional Rehabilitation Centre in Lower Sackville on May 15 after Longphee was pushed by a 28-year-old fellow resident.

As a result of the fall and other pre-existing conditions, Longphee died in hospital on May 17.

The death was ruled a homicide but charges will not be laid due to the 28-year-old man’s inability to form intent.
