Woman taken to hospital after ATV crash in Pictou County

New Glasgow Regional Police are investigating an ATV rollover that has left a 29-year-old New Glasgow female in serious but stable condition.

Sunday at approximately 1:30 p.m. New Glasgow Regional Police responded to 911 call for an ATV rollover that occurred in the wooded area north of Oak Street near Christ the King Cemetery in Trenton.

The 29-year-old victim was the passenger on the ATV.

A 26-year-old man from Pictou County was the driver and did not suffer any injuries.

Both were wearing helmets at the time of the incident. 

The investigation revealed that the victim suffered serious injuries after the ATV rolled over. The victim was taken to the Aberdeen Hospital by EHS.

She remains in hospital with serious injuries, but is in stable condition. 

The investigation into the cause of the collision is continuing.
