WINDSOR, N.S. - Windsor RCMP is investigating a hit-and-run after a man was struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk near 494 King Street in Windsor.

The incident is reported to have occurred on March 31, 2018, when police responded to a 911 call of a man injured in a crosswalk by a vehicle that left the scene around 11:17 a.m.

Police have determined through an investigation that the vehicle was a small, dark coloured (possibly black) Hyundai hatchback.

A second vehicle, a black Nissan Titan truck, stopped at the scene and spoke to the driver of the Hyundai, according to an RCMP press release.

Before police arrived, both vehicles left the scene while the injured pedestrian was being tended to by another passerby. The injured pedestrian also left the scene and the injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.

Police would like to speak to both drivers.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Windsor RCMP at 902-798-8366. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can also contact Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
