KINGSTON – A man has been charged with trafficking of both methamphetamine and hydromorphone after a police search allegedly revealed both drugs present in his home.

Kingston RCMP, working with the Annapolis District RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit, searched the home of Troy Ronald McGill, 46, of Kingston on Aug. 27.

An RCMP release alleges both drugs were found at the Kingston home. Police seized methamphetamine pills, hydromorphone pills and cash during the search.

McGill was arrested without incident and has been charged with possessing both drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

He will appear in Kentville Provincial Court on Sept. 25 to face the charge. The investigation remains ongoing.
