Emergency department at Roseway hospital closed Aug. 31 and Sept.2

There are three scheduled closures set for the Roseway Hospital Emergency Department. The first will be tonight (Friday, Dec. 5) from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

SHELBURNE - The emergency department at Roseway Hospital Shelburne, will be closed: Friday, Aug. 31, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

and Sunday, Sept. 2, 6 a.m., to Monday, Sept.3, at 8 a.m.

This is due to a lack of physician availability. Anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911, particularly if experiencing unusual symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest tightness, abdominal pain, persistent headache or dizziness, or an injury requiring stitches or involving a broken bone.

For non-urgent care, please call your family doctor or primary care provider.

For general health advice and information call 811, which is a service offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week by experienced registered nurses.
