BRICKTON, NS - The drive of a small car appeared to be uninjured after he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the road, and smashed into the front of a house in Brickton, Annapolis County.
The car hit the house just to the right of the front door. The crash happened just before 11 a.m.
It appeared that the car, which was heading west on Highway 1, dropped off the pavement and onto the shoulder, and the driver lost control bringing it back on the asphalt.
The vehicle entered the property on the other side of the road, half on the driveway and half in the ditch. It crossed the front lawn and hit the house.
EHS and Lawrencetown fire were both on the scene. Along with Annapolis District RCMP who were investigating the crash and directing traffic.
There was front-end damage to the car and minor structural damage to the house.
