CANARD - Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that resulted in one woman being rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash occurred in Canard around 11 a.m. March 30. A pickup truck collided with a car on a section of Hwy 358 located between Hwy 341 and Saxon Street.
“A woman, the sole occupant of the car, was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The occupants of the pickup truck were not injured,” a media release from Nova Scotia RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Andrew Joyce reads.
The impacted section of Hwy 358 was temporarily closed following the collision. RCMP, EHS and the Canning Fire Department responded, Joyce said.
