Digby man in jail after early morning double stabbing on St. George Street

RCMP have charged a 25-year-old man from Digby after two men were stabbed in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Digby RCMP responded to a 911 call at a residence on St. George Street in Digby at 3:30 a.m.

EHS treated two male victims, ages 32 and 34, both from Digby, on scene for stab wounds and then transported the men to Digby General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both men have since been released from hospital.

RCMP arrested a 25-year-old male from Digby at 4:30 a.m.

Nathan Weir is scheduled to appear in Digby Provincial Court Tuesday, Aug. 5 and is facing two counts of assault causing bodily harm.
