A Greenwood man is scheduled to enter pleas next month to several charges, including incest.

The man, in his 60s, is charged with two counts of assault; sexual assault; three counts of sexual touching involving girls under 16 years of age; counseling a person with a mental disability who was in a relationship of dependency with the man to touch him for a sexual purpose; and having sexual intercourse with his daughter.

The charges stem from incidents alleged to have occurred in Greenwood between Jan. 1, 2010 and July 31, 2014.

The man is also charged with failing to comply with his recognizance in Greenwood on Aug. 2.

The accused was present in Kentville provincial court on Aug. 7, when evidence was heard at a show cause hearing. The man was released on a new recognizance with a $10,000 justified surety. The matters were adjourned to Sept. 8 for plea.

The court has imposed a publication ban on any information leading to the identities of the alleged victims.
