Kentville police arrest second impaired driver this week

Kentville police have arrested a second person this week for allegedly driving while drunk.

Kentville Police and the RCMP were conducting a joint checkpoint at 10:30 p.m. on July 23 to look for motor vehicle and criminal code violations on Chester Avenue in Kentville.

A 56-year-old Kentville man was arrested and charged with impaired driving and failing a breathalyser.

He will appear in Kentville court at a later date to answer to the charges.

Earlier this week, police arrested another alleged impaired driver.
