From the perfect weather, to the dedication of it volunteers and the participation of enthusiastic crowds, the 82nd annual Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival “has been blessed,” said Festival President Gary Long.
As he waited in the parade line-up with other town criers from around the Valley and province, Long, who served double duty on parade day as town crier for Berwick and Canning, said “everything was coming together” for a wonderful weekend.
“It’s an ideal day, you couldn’t ask for better weather and from reports from the volunteers things are looking fantastic.”
Long credited festival board members and legions of volunteers for their hard work in pulling off the annual festival. He even said Mother Nature cooperated, providing blossoms at just the right time in orchards throughout the Valley for visitors to enoy.
