The Annapolis Valley Flying Association will welcome the president and CEO of the Canadian Operators and Pilots’ Association to their open house. The open house takes place at the Kings County Municipal Airport in Waterville on May 31.  Kevin Psutka will be addressing the crowd from the deck overlooking the runway at the rear of the airport terminal building at 3 p.m.

Psutka will be answering questions and offering support to the Save the Airport Campaign, emphasizing the need for small airports such as the municipal airport in Waterville. Kings County council has voted to close the airport as of Sept. 30.

The airport is located at 5876 Highway 1 in Cambridge.
