Shelburne will usher in the season in style with its 8th Annual Town-Wide Yard & Sidewalk Sale to be held this Saturday, June 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
First held in 2007 as part of the lead up to the 2008 Loyalist Landing celebrations, the event is an annual favourite with locals and visitors alike, drawing an estimated 3,000 eager treasure seekers and bargain hunters to Shelburne for the day.
Yardless yard salers will once again be welcome to set up on sidewalks or in the parking lot of the Shelburne Community Centre on King Street, along the grassy area, with washroom facilities accessible through the fire hall.
There will also be a car wash and BBQ held by the fire department at the community centre.
And, of course, the Shelburne Farmers' Market will be open at the Guild Hall on the Shelburne waterfront from 9 am - 1 pm.
The event will be held rain or shine.
