For the second time in one day, a Kings County school bus ran into trouble.

Just after 3 p.m. this  afternoon, a bus from Ecole Rose-des-Vents in Greenwood was rear-ended by a car on Highway 1, a school board spokesman said.

However, photos of the bus after it was towed showed damage to the side of the bus and the back, driver's side wheel.

“There was no big damage to the bus, but it had to be replaced,” Conseil scolaire acadien provincial communications officer Richard Landry said.

"There were eight students on the bus and they were transferred to another bus and everyone is OK.”

Traffic on Highway 1 was backed up in both direction after the accident, which happened just west of Kingston.

Earlier today, an Annapolis Valley Regional School Board  bus needed to be towed after getting stuck in the snow near Kentville.
