Regardless of its run in with post-tropical storm Arthur, Mud Hero Halifax is set to return to Ski Martock for a third consecutive year in 2015.

Ted McLeod, co-founder of the nation-wide obstacle series, said about 4,400 participants attempted the six-kilometre challenge, featuring 15-plus obstacles, on July 6.

The event was originally scheduled for July 5-6, but Saturday’s races were postponed to Sunday as a result of the weather warnings associated with Arthur.
