Morning thundershowers to make way for sunshine in Annapolis Valley Tuesday

The morning began with rain and thunder, but Environment Canada is promising a bright day in store.

In Kentville, the forecast calls for a risk of thundershowers this morning, and showers bringing up to 4 mm of rain before skies clear. Fog patches may linger along the coast.

Winds are expected to be southwest 20 km/h gusting to 40.

The forecast high is 28 C,  22 along the Fundy coast, with a UV index of 7 or high.
